Happy Fitness Friday!
It’s been a while since I’ve been able to get a real workout in so I’m feeling pretty good about it 🙂
Something I’ve wanted to do for a while is share my favorite body-positive advocates that I found through instagram.
Megan Jayne Crabbe fills her instagram account with so much love and positivity. She has a really great grasp that being body positive is about more than just accepting your body for the way it is. She fills her feed with messages about healthy relationships with yourself, with food, and with the people around you. She is so confident and posts amazing selfies, rocking some really cool mermaid colored hair and a radiant smile.
You can follow Megan on Instagram at @bodyposipanda or check out her website www.bodyposipanda.com
Milly Smith is a master at taking side-by-side photos showing how someone can completely change the way they look in a photo by posing in different ways. She really proves how the media can manipulate an image to make us see what they want, not how models or celebrities really look. Her feed is full of inspirational one-liners that always brighten my day, whether they are funny or serious.
You can check out her Instagram account at @selfloveclubb
Jess (sorry couldn’t find her last name :/) has a really cool and fun vibe about being healthy. She pairs images of herself working out and getting fit with images of her chowing down on pizza. She is a woman after my own heart and this is how I think we should all treat ourselves. You don’t have to give up on the foods you love, you just need to be smart about it. I am a self-proclaimed pizza goddess, by the way.
You can see Jess rock it at @plankingforpizza and she (I believe) just published a book! You can check that out at plankingforpizza.com/book/
These women have really amazing stories and know how to keep it real. I really admire their confidence and their ability to keep putting good vibes out no matter what. 😀
